Shana Gavron, the passionate and dedicated proponent of the Financial Valuation of Biodiversity, developed her love for all species during her childhood in the Kruger Park in South Africa. After completing her Masters degrees in Business Science, Business Administration and Wildlife Management – all with distinction – she started her labour of love which has continued for nearly two decades. Her persistance and determination and, more recently, with the assistance of her dynamic team, has resulted in the leading solution for Biodiversity: The Biodiversity Valuator, which allows for the financial valuation of different species of biodiversity in different regions. The White Paper on this has been well accepted and peer reviewed. And now, this has been developed further with the concept of each species being recognised as an economic citizen.
