NEWSTowards a Nature Positive Future in the Mediterranean - Endangered Wildlife OÜ

It was a privilege to have been part of the expert panel last week in Brussels discussing how biodiversity valuation sits within the concept of investing in biodiversity conservation.

In my opinion, the presentations and panels during the event strengthened the argument that it is vital to recognise that biodiversity fits within the economy and cannot be overlooked. There are ways of investing in and profiting from biodiversity in an ethical and sustainable manner. Without acknowledging this fact, we will never be able to resolve the impending climate crisis.

We therefore need to actively and sustainably integrate biodiversity into our decisions and economies rather than to isolate biodiversity.
