At the recent Natural Capital Summit 2021, Maurice Button of City and Financial Global, introduced the Chair of the day, Shana Vida Gavron, CEO of Endangered Wildlife OU, as having:
“over 15 years’ experience as an institutional equity analyst for leading Baltic institutions, with multiple Masters degrees in both finance and conservation. She has been developing a solution for the valuation of biodiversity since 2005, which has already led to the successful financial valuation of over 100 species internationally.”
Shana later introduced Mark Gough, CEO of Capitals Coalition; Gretchen Daily, Co-Founder of the Natural Capital Project; and Dr Nina Seega from the University of Cambridge.
This was followed by the successful and popular presentation by Shana Vida Gavron on “Beyond Measurement – Standardising the approach to Biodiversity Valuation.”
Later that afternoon, a large group of attendees joined the hosted Roundtable on the Application of Biodiversity Valuation.
